Complementary hardware includes high speed inter-register communications over Uninet (Ethernet). Anytime, anywhere report polling, file upload and download are made through remote operation using FTP access on the TX-870.   The cabinet's charcoal gray color and small footprint allows the TX-870 to blend in with most business surroundings, even those with limited counter space. The TFT display of the TX-870 offers a wide viewing angle, high brightness by using dual backlighting, and a fast screen paging system that enhances operations in fast moving business. Screen Savers can be loaded and used as advertisements for customer or to display instructions for operators. Software updates are easily loaded onto the TX-870's Flash Memory from a remote PC without the need for a site visit.     Table Plan (Option) facilitates sophisticated table/room management with 8 different status in your favorite programmable colors. Customer file linked to the Table Plan will facilitate reservation process using the preset information of customer name, etc. even with the possibility of making periodical invoice for the customer.   The optional Uniwet offers Ethernet's 10Mbps high speed communications across a network of TX-870 and associated printers. Operations in a busy bar, Table Management in a restaurant and all reporting facilities are easily handled using this high speed method.
